Using a moving scanner to capture the movement of spinning tops and photographing them underneath a glass table adds layers of complexity and depth to my exploration of motion and form. The combination of the physical spinning tops and the digital scanning and photography creates a dynamic interplay between tangible and virtual elements. Incorporating knitted yarn as a symbol of constant change adds another layer of meaning to my art project. Yarn, with its ability to be shaped and reshaped, stretched and pulled, reflects the fluidity and mutability of life itself. As the spinning tops move and the scanner captures their motion, the knitted yarn further reinforces the idea of continuous transformation and evolution.
